Christmas Ornaments
Hello everyone. Christmas is truly fast approaching... so better prepare all your craft materials because it's about time to create those christmas cards ahead of time. I'll be teaching you how to make your own Christmas cards out of cardstock paper design.
Here are all the materials you'll need:
What you'll need to do:
{1} Prepare your base card first. I wanted a bordered cover so I used Martha Stewart Lattice edge punch on the lower side of the cover. So a part of the inside will be seen once folded.
{2} Then cut-out the ornaments on a christmas design cardstock. If you have scrap cardstocks, then that would be great as well.
{3} Glue the cut-out to the upper right side of your base card. Making it look like it's hanging from the top.
{4} Then it's time to embellish the ornament. I added rhinestones and ribbon to give it a little twist.
{5} Using another patterned paper, punch the edge as well just like what you did on the first step. Measure around 2-inches and cut the paper.
{6} Then glue on top of the cover and above the punched area. Also cut the excess part on the sides. I also added a ribbon along the unpunched edge.
And that's it! Just pair it with a linen envelope and it's ready to be mailed for the Christmas season! You can also use a Christmas tree design or reindeer and snowman. Regardless, make sure to write down your message inside to make it more personal. :)
