Smiles are getting sweeter and hearts are feeling lighter. Everyone is starting to love romance cards all the more and chocolates and flowers are suddenly much-needed (and overpriced!) commodities. Ah, yes, it's Valentine's Day indeed! :)
In celebration of the season of love, we're taking the plunge and running our very first card-making contest! Share your homemade Valentine cards and get a chance to win as much as $125!! Imagine what crafting tools or supplies you can buy!
If you love romance cards and you've made one yourself, then I'd say this contest is perfect for you! Simply upload up to four photos of your homemade Valentine card and add in a write-up about the materials you used and how you made it. The theme is, of course, love. Romance cards can be in any size, color theme or design just as long as you made the card yourself.

CONTEST RULES
1. At least one photo (maximum of four) per contest entry is required. Photos must be your own.
2. List of materials used and a step-by-step tutorial on how the card was made are required. Your write-up must be original and must NOT appear on other websites or blogs. You can blog about your project but please reword your tutorial as Google penalizes sites with the same wordings. Absolutely no duplicate content please.
3. Enter as many times as you like. More entries, more chances of winning!
4. All contest entries submitted will remain available on this site for future visitors to view even after the contest has closed.
5. Spread the word by placing our contest button on your blog's sidebar and linking it to this contest page.
6. Contest will run from January 8, 2012 to March 1, 2012. Lots of time for you to make your card and join in! :)

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING
50% Comprehensiveness of Tutorial. We want others to love romance cards and to inspire them to make homemade Valentine cards themselves. Detailed step-by-step instructions would certainly help a lot.
25% Creativity. Got a card-making technique or tip that you'd like to share? We crafties are always looking for new creative inspiration and we'd thank you lots and lots for sharing. :)
25% Quality of Photos. Sometimes, all it takes for a person to get inspired is a lovely photo. Share a good photo of your card for extra points.
